Day 4 Full Report

Day four began with Australia resuming their second innings, and things fell apart quickly. Jake Weatherald was out for a duck first ball of the morning session, bowled by Hasan Mahmud. Marnus Labuschagne (31) and Steve Smith (44) then tried to rebuild, but both fell in quick succession Labuschagne bowled by Taijul Islam, and Smith caught and bowled by Mehidy Hasan Miraz.

Travis Head chipped in with a brisk 17 before he too was cleaned up by Mahmud. From there, the rest of Australia's line-up folded cheaply Alex Carey (30), Beau Webster (5), captain Pat Cummins (8), and Mitchell Starc (18) all fell to a relentless spell of pace and spin from Mahmud, Mehidy Miraz, and Taskin Ahmed.

The one man standing tall through the collapse was Cameron Green. Coming off a rough patch of form, Green batted with real discipline, grinding out an unbeaten 104 off 201 balls to give Australia something to fight with. But with little support at the other end, Australia's second innings folded for 284.

That left Bangladesh needing just 57 runs to win a target they knocked off comfortably on the fourth afternoon, losing only Mominul Haque's opening partner along the way.
